Just finished all 6 maps for Safe Passage. Working on putting them and the writing altogether in a pretty packaged pdf now. Here's a link to a sneak peek (non-spoiler redacted).
Here is a sneak preview of the introduction to the new module...
INTRODUCTION
OPERATION SAFE PASSAGE became anything but. In the last few hours, the Grays had sent their Augmen soldiers in waves against the strained defenses surrounding Salem Harbor. It didn’t take the aliens long to overrun the defense perimeter and start pouring into the docks. As the brutish Augmen made quick work of any E.D.U. forces they came across, the civilians who were left undefended became easy pickings for the Arachnoids who followed. People were being dragged away in droves to God knows where.
General Ailani Hale, currently put in charge of all Northeast Corridor operations, kept receiving reports from the front-line commanders regarding the situation. Things were getting desperate. He finally made the decision to cut their losses and order an immediate withdrawal from the area. There was nothing more they could do for those people. The only thing they could do was to prevent more civilian casualties by heading off any other survivor caravans on their way to the East Coast evacuation site.
Today at 0-700 hours Eastern Daylight Time, General Hale put out a CODE ALPHA 1 priority message on all channels to stay away from Salem Harbor. He also instructed all active military units in the field to instead entrench themselves with whatever local civilian populations were nearby and provide security for them until further orders were received. The message was then put on a loop to make sure it was not missed by any E.D.U. forces still out looking for survivors.
Your E.D.U. Marine squad, the surviving members of 1st Platoon-Sierra Company, received the transmission shortly after 0-7-30 hours as you sheltered in place in a parking garage located on the southeast side of the city of Manchester, New Hampshire. 2nd Platoon had headed north three days earlier. They had left to search for more civilians in the Northeast Corridor and to secure more food & water, as supplies have been running dangerously short. Their radio check-in 24 hours ago was the last time you heard from them. For all intents and purposes, your squad is now on its own.
